My Career Choice: Undecided

I've had a lot of aspirations and goals throughout the last few years. Dreams that may or may not be realistic. I used to dream about working as a chef, a fashion designer, or a flight attendant. But as time passed, I recognized that my dreams were driven by what I observed in my environment and that I still had yet to find a dream and a career that I truly desired.

I'm still having trouble deciding what college courses to take and what I want to do in the future. However, I am working to cope with it and to find answers, such as asking my parents about specific topics about my future or, more specifically, things to do relating to college courses I should pursue. I also make some time alone to think and reflect on the possible things that might happen with every decision I make and do. When it comes to my dreams that aren't related to college courses, I strive to take advantage of any opportunity I get and give it my all.

For the time being, I'm considering taking a civil engineering or architecture course at college, as these are two courses that I prefer and are related to the strand I'm currently studying. In addition, I'm growing more interested in landscaping, design, structure, and the process of constructing a house and other infrastructure. However, I'm still undecided about taking one of these courses as I feel like I'm still figuring out who I am and what I want to accomplish and be in the future.

Furthermore, when I'm having a hard time or feel like I'm losing hope in my dreams, praying to God is one of the best solutions I've learned. I try to be more optimistic and never lose hope. I also remind myself that God gave me a dream in my heart for a reason and that everything happens for a reason.

It may take some time, but whatever is meant to be yours will always find its way to you.
