Work in Progress (Learnings and Realizations on Writing Our Research Paper)

The process of preparing and writing our research study on "The Effectiveness of Rauwolfia serpentina as an Herbal Scented Candle" gave me a great opportunity to learn and build a new approach to our study.

The purpose of our study is to determine the efficacy of Rauwolfia serpentina as a herbal scented candle that can be used to relieve anxiety, stress, insomnia, and other sleep issues. Our research study began with a broad desire to understand more about our chosen study, which resulted in us getting more knowledge and in-depth readings as we continued to do more research and progressed with our report.

The first thing we did was to think of the topic and title of our research paper. We came up with the idea of using Rauwolfia serpentina as an herbal scented candle that can ease people’s anxiety, stress, tension, and sleep problems. We did some reading and research about the Rauwolfia serpentina and finally decided to continue with it as our research subject or topic. We spent lots of time studying how to start and write a research paper when we initially started working on it. We made a list of the basics and tried to categorize the paper. Rather than being overwhelmed by the process, we may concentrate and arrange our thoughts and ideas in this way.

And as we began to construct the paper, we first comprehended our topic and then proceeded to examine the parts of the research paper where we simply began the writing by using our prior knowledge. We began researching our proposed topic and searching for any articles that might be related to it. Some of the information from the papers and websites that we looked at was used. As we made progress on the paper, I realized how difficult it is to do so without prior knowledge of the components of a research paper and your selected topic.

It is critical that researchers work together to improve the structure and development of the introduction, as well as to conduct more studies, particularly in all parts of the research paper. We did some further and detailed research in all parts of our research paper, particularly the background of the study and the chapter 2 components where we needed to do and collect related studies, articles, and websites on our research topic. We also made each of the parts more detailed and correct so that we could present wide and in-depth reliable information. By doing the long cycle process, I learned how to analyze each piece of information we get and further readings to be able to connect all of the information and knowledge we want to impart to readers.

In a research paper, it is important to use short and long-cycle processes, as these processes will help us to start and further present the information we need. To strengthen your position in a research paper, you must explore, assess, and spend more time gathering reliable or credible facts. The purpose of the research paper is to build on what others have said about the topic, provide new studies and reliable information, and engage with sources in order to deliberately present a distinct standpoint on the topic at hand. In our case, we had a difficult time getting started or making initial progress on our report, but by employing the short and long-cycle processes, we were able to go forward with our paper, presenting trusted and credible data or information.
