"Success" is a simple one-word phrase that inspires all dreamers with confidence and determination. Everyone has their own definition of what it means to be successful. For some, success entails a large salary, a designer purse, a luxury car, and a large home. For others, it entails power. But have you ever considered what it really means to be successful? Have you ever had a strong desire for something? Something that you truly feel in your heart? Do you have a physical or mental state in mind that you'd like to achieve? Is success a monetary goal for you? Or do you want to achieve a state of mind where all you just want is genuine happiness? Each of us has our own concept of success, but we can all achieve it in our own special ways, and you are the only one who knows how to achieve the success you desire.

According to Solomon Ortiz (n.d.), “Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students”. It is undeniable that education is the most important factor in achieving success. It's where we all begin to achieve something, give it our all, and gain new skills that will undoubtedly benefit us. A decent education puts us in the best place and situation for a secure future. It is the means through which we can learn new things and keep our curiosity aroused about everything. Even better, when we finally graduate, it will locate us a well-paying job.

For us, education is both a stepping stone and a guarantee that it will lead us to the life we seek. It made me think of a phrase or saying by George Washington Carver, who said, "Education is the key to unlock the Golden Door of Freedom." Education is undoubtedly important, but it is not just the sole factor that contributes to our success. There are still a lot of factors and ways to think about. Education is undoubtedly a stepping stone to success, but have you considered the other things that influence our emotions and desires?

One thing that some individuals are unaware of is that we are the key to success. We are the key in and of ourselves. The answer to all of our questions can be found deep within our hearts. Education truly brings us success, especially when we graduate from a good course, and from a well-known university. But we also know that not everyone can attend school and pursue higher education. Some students are unable to attend school due to financial reasons, some may not have stable health, and others are unable to go due to a variety of other issues. We know many successful people, including Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Alicia Keys, Brad Pitt, and Bill Gates, who are all college dropouts. But do you know how they got to where they are now? It's because of their bravery, skills, and perseverance to attain what they actually want, what their hearts and minds truly desire. We all have ambitions, dreams of achieving all of our objectives, and dreams of being successful. But let us remember that our abilities, courage, and determination are the true and primary keys to our success. To understand what makes us happy, what is in our hearts.

Success is more than just a monetary benefit. For me, it's a desire to reach peace of mind, to be able to smile freely and to sleep soundly, not to work, not to earn, but to live our lives to the fullest, to do what we truly desire. It's a sensation that our head, heart, and soul desire for us. But keep in mind that education is vital, even if it isn't the only element that will lead you to your goals. It is one of your stepping stones, along with other factors, that will lead you to your goals. Everyone wishes to achieve the pinnacle of success in life.

Everyone wants to be successful, but not everyone understands what success entails.

We don’t know that we can still achieve success wherever we are, just like what John Ortberg said in his book “All the Places to Go”. He said that “Don’t wait for passion to lead you somewhere you’re not. Start by bringing passion to the place where you are.” So start thinking about what your mind, heart, and soul actually desire, and give yourself the bravery, passion, and resolve to evolve into the person you were meant to be.

Success will be determined by your abilities, enthusiasm, courage, and determination. Knowing what will bring you peace in your mind, heart, and soul is, in my opinion, the ultimate meaning of success. So start getting to know yourself and what you actually want because this is one of your stepping stones to achieving your objective.

Just like what John Ortberg said, “Very often a sense of calling comes when people begin to pay attention to what moves their hearts.”
